EXERCISE TO LOOK AND FEEL BETTER

 

Moderate exercise will help keep you protected from disease. It is best to include some aerobic exercise like bicycling or walking to help strengthen your heart. You will also want to include strength training exercises such as calisthenics or weight lifting to build muscles and cut fat.

 

In the beginning try to exercise two or three times a week and work towards five days a week. By exercising you will keep your heart young, lower high blood pressure, improve your balance, lower your cholesterol, enhance your s.e.x life, improve your mood, lower your cancer risk, strengthen your bones, ease joint pain, help control diabetes and many more other problems.

 

Be sure to warm up for at least 10 to 15 minutes using slow stretches or light calisthenics. Start by exercising the 15 to 20 minutes a day and work up to 30 to 45 minutes a day.

 

Be sure to schedule a regular workout time and dress for comfort. Half of your exercise routine should include aerobics and the other half calisthenics. Make sure you have plenty of water available so you will not dehydrate.

 

Choose the exercises you want to start with. Make sure to include exercises for your upper and lower body. Listening to music while working out will help make it more enjoyable. Once you get in the habit of exercising regularly, you will notice an increase in your energy and stamina.
