Monounsaturated fats like canola oil, olive oil, corn and safflower oils are somewhat healthy as long as they are taken in moderation. Saturated fats like those in eggs, meat and dairy foods are some of the products that will cause major health problems.

Be sure to limit saturated fat to under 10% of your daily calories and try to cut back as much as possible on fatty acids to live a longer and healthier life.
